Striking Architectural Beauties: #2 Bella Sky Comwell – Copenhagen, Denmark

20 September 2011 No Comment

This striking beauty was designed by the local architectural firm 3XN. According to the designers themselves the two towers resemble two dancers that are leaning and moving together.

The photogenic structure leans out at a staggering 15 degrees in each direction (that’s 11 degrees more than the Leaning Tower of Pisa!!!).

There are several tourist attractions near the hotel, (the National Museum of Denmark or the Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek) which makes it a great spot on the list of tourists coming to Denmark.

Everyone has their opinion and some of the most notable comments have included:

“Artistic sculpture meets commercial architecture…”

“Its like a very big strange piece of origami – simply this is just beautiful.”

“It must lift one’s spirits and bring on a cheerful mood to approach this building knowing that you’ll be staying there for a few days”

My opinion … what a fabulous hotel. Hands up who’d like to stay here?

Although I don’t think you should book a corner room in this hotel!
