Ferry terminal, Port of Hull
Ferry terminal, Port of HullThe use of Colorcoat HPS200® on the walls in this environment has a dual function. Firstly, its Galvalloy® substrate and unique coating formulation gives it the proven ability to provide protection from the salt water and harsh North Sea climate. Secondly, the striking colour creates a focal point for passengers arriving at the port.
Living Tomorrow 3
Living Tomorrow 3The Living Tomorrow 3 building in Amsterdam is a testament to the imagination and creativity of the architect, Ben van Berkel from UN Studios in conjunction with the Living Tomorrow Organisation. Cladding is a major structural and visual element, with Corus supplying Colorcoat® PVDF pre-finished steel for the panels in a unique subtle flip colour to meet the unusual requirements of the design.
ProLogis - Ridgemont, Bedfordshire
ProLogis - Ridgemont, BedfordshireSenior Vice-President of ProLogis, Ken Hall, was strongly influenced by the guarantee offered by Corus. “We always look to work with suppliers who take full responsibility for the performance of their products,” he comments. “It is on this basis that we always insist that ProLogis developments have the comprehensive backing of the Confidex guarantee. It is offered directly to our organisation and is not reliant or dependent upon other parties within the supply chain. This is why it has a fundamental advantage over competitors guarantees.”
Sterling House - Potters Bar, Hertfordshire
Sterling House - Potters Bar, HertfordshireSterling House in Potters Bar, Hertfordshire was a typical 1960s office block, badly in need of refurbishment to bring it up to date. The building was acquired by retirement housebuilder, McCarthy & Stone for use as a regional office. Corus Refurbishment Solutions were engaged to undertake the refurbishment which would create a contemporary building façade. A flat façade panel system using Colorcoat Celestia® in Sirius was used to provide a modern appearance to the building.
