Repertoire® evolves

Repertoire® is the new, unique, online, 360°, 3D visualisation tool, which has been designed by Corus to give specifiers the freedom and flexibility to create their own virtual Colorcoat® pre-finished steel envelopes, in countless colour and profile combinations, using a variety of different building types.

High quality 3 dimensional online visualisations of office, retail, industrial and stadia projects have been virtually created onto which an almost limitless choice of colours, including metallic effects, can be applied. The specifier is also able to apply a range of popular cladding profile types and orientations to both the wall and roof of the building, allowing them to appreciate the influence of both form and colour on its appearance.

One of the major benefits of the tool is the level of photo realism that it provides. In the past specifiers have had to rely upon colour swatches, hand samples and profile samples to guide them in their choice. This new application has been created to give them an instant ‘finished’ working visual of the building, based on the choices they have made. A zoom-in facility and different pre-defined camera angles of the visual are also helpful when comparing various profile types and orientations.

Using the very latest 3D web visualisation technology, the tool allows the user to have a more interactive experience than ever before. The chosen options can be easily recorded using a screen shot option, which then allows the user to save them for later consultation or share them with colleagues and clients via URL links.

Recently previewed to a number of high profile architectural practices in Manchester and London, reaction to the new tool has been exciting. Chetwood Associates representative told Corus, “I think it’s going to make choosing materials, profiles and colours a lot easier in the future”, adding that they ”haven’t seen anything like it online before”.
