Corus sponser Annual Summer School at the Eden Project

08 Aug 2007

Corus Colors are delighted to be a sponsor of a global sustainability programme at the world famous Eden Project. Architecture sans Frontieres-UK is a not-for-profit organisation that bridges the gap between professional building practice and the needs of those living in poverty or in the aftermath of a disaster. Their education programme raises development awareness and teaches the essential participatory tools and techniques which enable people who are living in poverty to improve their conditions and subsequently their lives.

The focus of this year’s Summer School will be on Building Communities, Sustainable Livelihoods & Social Enterprise. The event is aimed at empowering impoverished communities through training volunteers. Corus are contributing to the Annual Summer School @ The Eden Project, running throughout September, where the themes explored will include Urbanisation and the Professionals Role in Global Development.
