Corus have been represented at this years recent Futurebuild event. The exhibition is the UK’s biggest annual event for offsite and innovation in construction and has a focus on the latest developments in sustainability for the construction sector. Held at Earls Court in London, the event attracted 24,000 visitors, 500 exhibitors and 500 speakers from all over Europe. Corus Colors, the Shotton based steel business, has a strong commitment to sustainability and supplied its premium product, Colorcoat Prisma® pre-finished steel, for use on the stand of event sponsor The UK Green Building Council. The event also played host to a number of seminars all based around sustainability. Product Development Manager for Corus Colors, Rodney Rice, delivered a presentation in one of the main theatres looking at sustainability in commercial buildings. The presentation was well attended and looked at how Corus, as part of the supply chain achieves sustainable results working with their partners. The event as a whole was a success and highlighted the ongoing commitment to sustainability from Corus.
