Corus represented at this years Eisteddfod

Corus Colors are participating in this years Eisteddfod event. The Shotton based manufacturer of pre-finished steel will be based in the Science & Technology Area. Amongst other things on display at the Corus stand will be a steel can recycling unit, which will demonstrate the sustainable nature of the products. The company will also be holding competitions based on recycling and Corus Colors itself. It is the first time the business has taken part at the festival. Peter Wilks, General Manager for Corus Colors said “As one of the areas large employers, we are delighted to be represented at Wales’ most esteemed cultural event. We hope our Corus stand will educate and entertain visitors to the show.”

Videos detailing how the company recycle and how their products are made will be on display. There will also be an opportunity for visitors to partake in an Olympic based competition. General information will be available regarding Corus Colors along with the key themes of sustainability the environment & recycling. A number of Corus Colors employees will be manning the stand throughout the event where any questions on aspects of the business will be answered.

The Eisteddfod will take place from 4 - 11 August 2007 and will be situated on the grounds of the Pentrehobyn estate in between Mold and Wrexham.
