Performance

Coating Attributes
Colorcoat Urban™ is coated in a high performing organic plastisol formulation, unique to Corus:
- The coating is able to attain a 200 micron thickness due to the special viscosity of the coating.
- The thickness provides superior robustness for the processing and in use phase.
- Coating and the substrate are highly flexible to avoid damage during fabrication and installation.
- Special pigments are extremely UV resistant ensuring that the product retains its distinctive matt colour. The UV performance also contributes to the products longer life durability.
- At the end of life, research has shown, that the substrate can be completely recycled with zero impact from the coating.
Durability
The durability of Colorcoat Urban™ is derived from its metallic coated substrate and the high performing 3 coat paint system, all brought together in a carefully controlled, ISO9001 approved, manufacturing process to deliver the very best quality and performance.
Designed to Perform
Colorcoat Urban™ has been put through a rigorous laboratory and real world testing programme to validate its performance in different conditions. The superior performance of Colorcoat® has been successfully proven on thousands of buildings worldwide.
