A Grand Success!

The event took place between the 9th and 11th October and featured many of the top names in the world of housing.  It turned out to be a fantastic platform for Colorcoat Urban™ to meet several new architects, contractors and sub-contractors as well as many people embarking on their own grand designs.

Those who passed the stand were often surprised to learn that the product is in fact Steel based.  Corus Colorcoat Urban™ have invested in a range of colours that give the consumer the perfect aesthetic for the urban environment, and frequently passers by thought the model on display was promoting a Zinc roof.  The event gave visitors an opportunity to get up close to the product, get a feel for it, and analyze the quality of the detailing.

Two Colorcoat Urban™ members manned the stand over the 3 days, and visitors were taken aback when they were informed that the product came with a 40 year guarantee, as well as all the sustainability benefits and a quick fit system.

The main artwork displayed on the stand was that of the Durham case study.  This was very well received, and is worthy of featuring on any episode of Grand Designs.  Visitors were impressed by the integration of windows to the roof, as well as how the Colorcoat Urban™ roof enhanced the overall aesthetic of the house.

Also featuring at the show was a house created in one day for the annual House in a day project.  This house featured on BBC Midlands today, and can be watched via this link.
