As a result of this increased market knowledge, our pre-finished steel roofing, wall cladding and rainscreen cladding product Colorcoat Prisma® now incorporates the following enhanced attributes and benefits:
Confidex® Guarantee
Colorcoat Prisma® is available with the Confidex® Guarantee for solid and metallic colours for up to 30 years, and matt colours for up to 25 years - the longest on the market. All with no maintenance or inspections required to maintain their validity.
Contemporary new colour range
Contemporary new colour range with an optically smooth finish for modern steel roof and wall cladding designs, including 3 new matt colours chosen to replicate more traditional building materials.
UV resistance
All colours surpass requirements of Ruv4 as per EN 10169:2009 proving outstanding colour retention for steel roofing and wall cladding systems.
Corrosion resistance
All solid and metallic colours surpass requirements of RC5 as per EN 10169:2009 proving outstanding corrosion resistance for external building cladding systems.
Double sided capability
Double sided capability for buildings with demanding internal environments, rainscreen cladding and rainwater goods where double sided protection is required.
Approved by WRAS for cold water use
Approved by the Water Regulatory Advisory Scheme (WRAS) for cold water use, so can be used as part of a rainwater collection system with no detriment to the water quality.
Renewable applications
Ideal for renewable energy sources - approved by TUV as a substrate for photovoltaic systems to IEC 61646, and with its high solar absorption it is ideal for Transpired Solar Collectors.
