Confidex® Guarantee
Confidex® is the product performance guarantee for Colorcoat HPS200 Ultra®, when used in an external conventional building envelope application namely roof and wall cladding using single skin, built –up or composite panel construction in industrial and commercial buildings.
Extended colour range
The contemporary colour range provides exceptional choice offering scope for both bold and subtle design statements. Colorcoat HP2000 Ultra is available in 40 standard colours and to make the colour selection process easier the palette is grouped by Signature, Classic and further extended Matt Colours.
UV resistance
All colours surpass requirements of Ruv4 as per EN 10169:2009 proving excellent colour retention for steel roofing and wall cladding systems.
Corrosion resistance
Comprehensive natural and accelerated testing prove that all colours surpass requirements of RC5 as per EN 10169:2009 proving outstanding corrosion resistance for external building cladding systems. Today’s super durable Colorcoat HPS200 Ultra® have been developed to perform in the most demanding environments.
Interior performance
Excellent test results mean that Colrocat HPS200 Ultra® is classified as a CPI5 product as per EN 10169:2010. This is the highest classified level of corrosion preotection for internal environments and means that it is suitable for the most demanding internal applications such as swimming pools, power stations, energy from waste and processing factories.
Double sided capability
To support the super durable qualities of Colorcoat HPS200 Utlra® it is provided with a high performance backing coat as standard however is also available double sided. This provides a robust barrier on the reverse side for building with demanding internal and external environments such as manufacturing plants.
Solar Reflectivity
Understanding reflectivity and emissivity of pre-finished steel roofing and wall cladding materials is important, to evaluate their affect on thermal loading and the urban heat island effect. All colours in the Colorocoat HPS200 Ultra® range have been tested and several colours have exceptional reflectivity properties which can reduce solar gain and associated energy consumption required for cooling.
