Additional schemes to reduce risk further

Additional schemes to reduce risk further

The Confidex® guarantee is a class leading product guarantee that covers the external weathering sheet of your building envelope against coating failure. There are additional schemes available which when used in conjunction with Confidex can reduce risk even further.

System guaranteesBack to Top

The quality of a system and its longevity is heavily influenced by the way in which it is installed, the contractor’s workmanship and their adherence to the product manufacturer’s guidelines. Always insist on a product guarantee such as Confidex® and where available a system guarantee that combines product guarantees with cover for installation and in some cases design as well. Look out for those that are insurance-backed which could prove invaluable should the guarantor go out of business in the future. Some system manufacturers have approved contractor schemes whereby they train and monitor the work of the contractor and guarantee their work direct to the building owner. Use ‘the questions to ask your guarantee provider’ to help choose the system guarantee.

Not only does the Confidex® guarantee provide reassurance for the building owner but a leading insurer has agreed to discount their premiums for buildings registered with a Confidex guarantee.
