The benefits of a Confidex registered building

Registering the Confidex® guarantee provides you with a direct link to Corus. In the unlikely event of a coating failure during the guarantee period, many years down the line, we can be contacted directly independently of the contractual chain. Not only does this save time, but also it can avoid unnecessary legal involvement and the associated costs. In the ‘worst-case scenario’, elements of the contractual chain may no longer even exist, making a complaint difficult, or even impossible, to pursue without the direct link to Corus.

Put simply, a registered Confidex guarantee is a contract between the building owner and Corus that should provide great peace of mind for many years. Without a registered guarantee, liability is limited to standard terms and conditions of sale.

The Confidex guarantee, combined with a specific cladding system guarantee, provides extended cover for the building envelope.
