ZEP Leisure Park
Zeeland, Netherlands
ZEP Leisure Park is an enormous complex based in the Netherlands, housing among others, a family amusement park called Mini Mundi, HeBu Sports and outdoor store and Toys XL toy shop.

For optimum protection for the walls Nio Architects chose Colorcoat HPS200 Ultra® in Aztec Yellow, Saffron and in a later phase added a third colour, the deep red of Burano. With its market leading colour and gloss retention Colorcoat HPS200 Ultra® pre-finished steel was specified for the external cladding to give the buildings a bright, cheerful look, fitting to their purpose that will remain true for the maximum length of time.
The project is a concept and development of ZEP Vrijetijdspark Middelburg VOF (ZEP Leisure Park Middelburg VOF), a partnership of TCN, a real estate developer, and RECC who create trend-setting work and leisure environments for clients. The aim of the ZEP Leisure Park is to pay a positive contribution to tourism in the province of Zeeland and the economy of the Walcheren peninsula. The park will be opened all year round to appeal to tourists outside the summer season and aims to eventually receive 900.000 visitors per year. Through its contemporary architecture and innovative layout the ZEP Leisure Park will have a positive impact on the image of Zeeland, and in combination with other highlights in the area, will give the local economy a boost.
Other future occupants of the project are Burggolf Middelburg (Golf course), BCC (home appliances), Fit for all (sports centre), La Place restaurant, KFC, The Football Experience, Music Hall, ROC Zeeland (Regional Education Centre), and the Van der Valk Hotel.
