Technically credible Confidex Sustain®

Corus is able to offer Confidex Sustain® zero carbon building envelope systems because we have full traceability and composition information for all elements of the pre-finished steel and cladding system, including insulation and fixings.

As part of Corus continued commitment to going beyond mere compliance on environmental issues, we are taking action to reduce to net zero the unavoidable CO₂ emissions produced by Colorcoat HPS200® Ultra and Colorcoat Prisma® pre-finished steel products and the cladding systems they become part of. Corus has been working over a number of years to make Colorcoat HPS200® Ultra and Colorcoat Prisma® the most sustainable pre-finished steel products on the market. The introduction of Confidex Sustain® supports this approach and further enhances their sustainability credentials. Importantly Confidex Sustain® will offset the impact from the entire building envelope system rather than just one element such as the pre-finished steel.
